ADOBE CASLON TYPE SPECIMEN
Typography
¤ Academic project
february 2024
For a typographic exhibition celebrating the Adobe Fonts portfolio, I created a new
type
specimen for Adobe Caslon in the format of a fold-out poster (50x70cm), printed in
black on both sides. The project involved dissecting this classic serif typeface,
originally created by English typefounder William Caslon in 1732. Notably, Adobe
Caslon is a variation of the same font used for the first printed version of the
American Declaration of Independence.
